Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer for the Warren County Parks Foundation
Since 2015, the Warren County Parks Foundation has engaged generous volunteers throughout our community who have collectively contributed hundreds of service hours. We are always looking to make new friends and we welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities. If you are interested in giving back to your community and supporting its parks, please consider participating in one or more of our volunteer programs below:

ParkFest Volunteers

Interested in volunteering at ParkFest? We rely on amazing volunteers – like YOU — to make ParkFest a success. Not only will you get to help throw a fun event for the community, but you will also receive a special edition ParkFest T-shirt!  Please note: Any child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The ParkFest Committee will also gladly sign-off on service hours for students who volunteer.

Volunteers in Parks

Anyone who generously donates their time in support of our mission is a very important person. Volunteers in Parks (VIP). As a VIP, you can help monitor trails, lead tours, plan events, organize activities, advocate for parks, and more.

Trail Crew

If you like getting your hands dirty, our Trail Crew helps build, repair, and maintain the many miles of trails throughout Warren County’s park system. As a Trail Crew member, you will help construct kiosks, signs, steps, bridges, walkways, benches, and more.

Clean and Green Team

Each spring, our Clean and Green Team leads the largest one-day annual cleanup of Warren County’s parks. Working as individuals, families, or groups, volunteers tackle special projects on this day which help get the parks ready for the peak season. Participants clear trails, collect litter, rake, plant flowers, remove invasive species, paint, and repair various structures.

Corporate Volunteers

We invite businesses to help improve Warren County’s parks by partnering with us on a tailor-made project for their organization. Not only can these projects be a great team-building exercise and help increase morale, but they will also provide a valuable service to the park system. Groups can choose to have a one-day project, a project that spans a few days, or one that they return to until it is completed.
